A blue Great Falls Park. I am curious what others think in general,

and specifically of the blue cast. I originally intended to remove

the blue (I was desperately trying to slow down shutter speed and

ended up using virtually every filter I owned) but have decided to

leave it.

Beautiful rapids, but I think the color potential of the shot does get lost in the blue cast.

Also, I think the composition might be stronger if you cropped off the sky at the top, and went for a wider shape. As it is, my eye tends to drift back to the sky, which isn't the interesting part of the photo (the waterfall is/should be).

Some gentle sharpening might help to bring out the texture of the rocks better.

for the feedback. I had made a similar non-blue version to the one you posted Gino, but I think you did a little better job. In any event IMHO the blue version just seemed a little more interesting than the non-blue, which is why I asked - to see if I was loopy or not.

Your black and white version is similar to some shots I took of the same thing but with an IR filter. I haven't played with them much as the focus looked a little off on the IR shots.

I will try the crop that was suggested.
