andre_napier 0 Posted March 24, 2005 Please critique. Keep in mind that the front figure is a 6" tall doll. Link to comment
rui_marques 0 Posted March 25, 2005 very interesting composition. inteligent camera placement (perhaps with a minor lens opening you could get the characters on the back more focused. But that might not be your intention at all). well done. very original Link to comment
giuseppe_miriello1 0 Posted March 25, 2005 This image is the first of its kind i have ever seen. I couldn't even tell if it was taken indoor or outdoor (like it seems). Really i like the reduced depht of field with focus just on the close foreground. Link to comment
tom_parker1 0 Posted March 25, 2005 This image will be more than enough to manipulate any trendy, socially aware or yuppie parent to spend a fortune on clothes that their kids will outgrow in a few months. I dislike what this photo represents. Nontheless Andre, I give you 7/7. Link to comment
ognian radoslavov 0 Posted March 25, 2005 very wow i also i like the bird in the air it's a burd isn't it ? :)) it'gives more "freedom" of the pic Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 25, 2005 I have to give you full marks for the idea and for having the children exactly in the right place for long enough to take the picture. Full marks all round really. Beautifully sharp where you want it and I love the out of focus areas too. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted March 27, 2005 I would reallylike to have some details about the concept here: meaning, what was this picture supposed to be used for...? It could for example be an ad for the dolls themselves, or it could be a very interesting way to present (at small size) a fashion collection for kids, or......In every case, I think this picture is fantastic. DOF is imo really perfect. By the way, was it helped or modified somehow in PS or not...?At first sight, I got the feeling that these were real kids, and that the one in front was in some sort of danger with the 2nd trying to help him, and I think that's really a brilliant result.I can't fault the composition, nor the toning, and I feel the angle is really great as well. So here comes, I think, my 1st 7/7 on one of your works. Meaning that I feel this is the best shot I've seen you upload. Superb. Regards. Link to comment
miles1 0 Posted May 4, 2005 Brilliant photo, reminiscent of Cartier-Bresson. Can only be a 7. Link to comment
joseph_verdesca 0 Posted July 30, 2005 off-balance, dynamic, eye-catching, nice DOF - it draws one in, makes one wonder - well done Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted August 5, 2009 A fascinating image with a lot to conclude from it. The remark about fashion and later is over and then more, takes the image to another level. Congrats. Warm regards. Link to comment
