Just wanted to see what "real" photographers may say about my photo.

It's only scanned in as 200x200 or so I believe, so it's kind of

tough, but if you save it to a graphics ed and enlarge it a bit, you

get a better shot, with a bit less detail...

Please don't hold back, especially for positive feedback. :) Thanks!

I'm note sure if I qualify as a 'real' photographer, but I like it! The colors are strong, and the close / distant contrast draws in the eye. The only thing I can see to criticize is that it's perhaps a little busy; a few too many things in the scene. But that may just be my own personal minimalism talking... *8)

Well shot.

I like the clouds and the distortion of the sign. What kills it for me is the power lines, and there's not a whole lot you could do about them, except digitally.

the sky looks great...and yeah the power lines

indeed seems like an unwanted addition....maybe

you could have taken the shot from the other side.

But i do like your idea of taking a close shot

of signal post from a low perspective to include

the nice creamy clouds...

Great sky (good use of polarizer) and nice depth of field, but too much wires in this composition (too many elements in the photo). You could have improved it by concentrating on the sign, railroad track and the gorgeous sky, if possible.

Thank you for your commetns!!! They will be taken into consideration for future shots. I do have train photos as well and may upload one soon. I got lucky while walking back and saw one coming, but it was too late to go back to this location...
