Chilkat Sunset

I was having trouble capturing this sunset - my 2-stop ND filter

wasn't quite enough to level out the image. So I backed up through

some trees for this shot. Did it work? Thoughts? Thanks!

But why take the sun into the picture at all? I see beautiful colors on the sky, so if you would have covered the sun with a tree you could have exposed for the sky, making it more colorful. The trees give an interesting twist to the picture, what would have been otherwise just another sunset. I don't know if you like "manipulating pictures", but next time when you run into trouble with the dynamic range you could bracket the exposure and compose the picture in the computer.
