j_doyle 0 Posted March 21, 2005 Pavel, This is kind of a twilight zone where reality merges into fantasy...or vice versa. The two women really do seem to be sitting together and chatting, but in "reality", fantasy and reality do chat, don't they? Love the colors, love the whole concept which is aided, in part, by the wonderful perspective. Just out of curiosity...no, on second thought, I prefer not to know whether this is a found-scene or a set-up. That would be like asking is it real or is it fantasy. How can one ask that question when faced with this scene? Ha! I love it! Excellent! And this is a great way for me to face the fantasy/reality of work to which I must now hurry off. J Link to comment
Brian_Edwards 0 Posted March 23, 2005 I can't tell whether this is spotaneous or posed. Maybe it doesn't matter, but what usually makes these kinds of subject-background juxtaposition shots interestings is their spontaneous nature. On a separate issue, I don't see how anyone could consider this shot original (I've done far too many myself...trying to mimic HCB, of course). Link to comment
michaelarm 0 Posted September 20, 2006 I am relatively new to this site (and will likely become a member); however, I was thumbing through photographic works and this one intrigued me very much. I love the colorful, artsy wall and the woman seated there in what seems to be a trance. It's like she is having a conversation with the painted woman on the wall. The more I look at it...the MORE I LOVE IT. Your genius in composition here intrigues me very much! A+ Link to comment
