joachim.wabnig 0 Posted March 20, 2005 Great how this one person is illuminated by a ray of light, with everything around being dark. Unfortunately his face got overexposed, maybe some detail can be saved there. I like the strong contrast, but a little less would have been more. Link to comment
yeung-seu yoon 0 Posted March 20, 2005 Thanks Joachim--I think you're right. The negative has moderately high contrast, but I think I overdid it in the printing trying to make the photo more dramatic. Link to comment

misti morris 0 Posted March 23, 2005 I'm not sure what it is about this photograph. I've seen dozens of images of people in airports or train stations. But this one makes me stay and look. Its almost as if it were a movie still and the people will continue there pace when the narrator has finished giving his speech. Really nicely done. I don't even mind the contrastiness. Nicely done. yeung-seu yoon 0 Posted March 25, 2005 Thanks very much Misti. Grand Central is lavishly cinematic in the early morning, when sunlight pours through the windows. It's hard to take a weak photograph--the environment is so rich you can't miss. Link to comment
