alecee 0 Posted March 20, 2005 A chance encounter with a wedding couple at an Indian Temple with my new Sigma "pop-eye" 14mm AF EX HSM 2.8mm wide angle lens. Does it work? Link to comment
joao sa 0 Posted March 20, 2005 Alec, the photo is good. That is ok, but in my opinion is a common shot. There is something I don't like. It's not the wide angle. Maybe the grain, the colors. Was this with flash? High iso? Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 20, 2005 Joao, no flash so definitely no shadows. I'm working on it with my notebook and cannot check the color or contrast well. Will see it tomorrow in my CRT monitor. Link to comment
rkynast 1 Posted March 20, 2005 Wonderful moment, Alec. For me, your wide-angle lens has brought too much of the background into focus and made the background too busy. Regards Link to comment
julie_fulsher 0 Posted March 20, 2005 Such vibrant color!!! Nice shot. I think I would have shifted the camera a bit to the right so that the bride wasnt so close to the center of the photo. Link to comment
phototed 0 Posted March 21, 2005 I wish the bride wasn't looking directly at the camera. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 21, 2005 Julie, Ted, thanks for viewing. Richard, I am amazed at the intricate carvings on the temple walls, that's why I purposely made everything sharp. Joao, I checked it on my CRT monitor and slightly decrease the colors. It should be more natural now. Link to comment
