Has some of the same stucture lightwise as your POW from the series in the rhythm(?) of the light. Like the way the light and action move synchronously. Even the edge of the book lines up with it. You really can be a master of that square format. Don't know how much you worked the contrast, but it's at least to the edge of the envelope in dropping out the darks IMO (which isn't worth much - I just like to write sometimes to help me understand why I like what I like). dougityb 0 Posted March 20, 2005 Hi Wayne, thanks. The contrast is what the negative demands, if you ask me. It's thin in the shadows, and a bit heavy in the highlights due to the combination of exposure and processing I used. On the negative, there is no face, thanks to the strong light, and the exposure being biased for the hightlights. I never noticed that about the book. Thanks for mentioning it. Writing is self-help, I agree, but it helps others who are looking for it, too. : ) Doug Link to comment
