david robinson 0 Posted March 18, 2005 Interesting combination of geometries -- from classical to fractal -- evenly divided. Link to comment

orensztajn 0 Posted August 17, 2005 I can just stay here and watch your photos all day. This is brilliant in its simplicity. You divided the photo in 2 and the symmetry is very good (but not just in the middle). Rgds Link to comment
minicucci 0 Posted August 17, 2005 You are too kind. Thank you. This is an older shot and one of the few in my portfolio that uses color as a real component of the image. Too often, I just bludgeon color because my sensibilities are so tuned into B&W. This one escaped my "talent" and wound up as a decent color photograph :) I admire and hope to acquire the skill of using color as a vital picture element. That's why I liked your "Farm Before the Storm" image. Its restrained color palette shows a real color eye. If you haven't already, take a look at David Robinson's, Ed Swinton's and Carsten Ranke's work. David works with a softer color palette that is just exquisite. Ed's work is more varied, very bold and almost always glorious. Carsten Ranke is equally at home with color & B&W and produces images of impeccable clarity and insight. All three produce wonderful, teaching work. Best, Pat Link to comment

orensztajn 0 Posted August 18, 2005 You are too kind too, I looked at the Ed's work (I have him in my favourite list), amazing work too. I do not know the others but I will look at them. As I said before your work in BW is brilliant and still one of the best in PN regarding this. You make me feel proud if you liked my farm photo. I just have to say that I saturated/hued and levelled the colors, those were there. Thanks a lot! Link to comment
