let's go for a comment, since you asked for it : i like the subject, the colours (did you do much post-treatment ?), and the composition. So i go for a 6/5 on this one. The only thing i don't like that much is the framing that makes the whole thing look like a postcard, but probably it's on purpose. Regards.

Nicely composed here Guy, with prominence wisely given to the foreground rocks. Nice decision there. What makes this one stand out to me as well are those low, soft-colorful clouds beautifully lit by the setting sun. You really made this location look quite special!! 7/6

Only suggestion regarding the border, is perhaps try moving the accent in a little closer to the edge. Near the middle as it is, it loses a little appeal in my mind. Just a thought. Aloha.

It is so nice to get helpful critiques from all of you. I am going to have to make some changes in my frames for my images. This is not the first negatives I have recieved concerning them. I am happy that you enjoy this image and hope that you will come back to see my work as it progresses. Thanks to many of you I think I am improving a little at a time. Regards. Guy

Hello Guy.

A better angle for this lighthouse, and consequently a better photograph, compared to the other, similar shot in the folder. The detail in the rocks is fascinating, and you have employed a judicious use of depth of field. The sky is once again fantastic, and the colours are somehow, bith muted, and vibrant. The light and exposure were superb!

Easy to give this one a 7/7!

Regards, Nick.

This is very well done. Excellent details throughout the photo, superb composition, great pastel colors in the sky and the dark background that direct's the viewer attention to the house on the hill. Just awesome!!
