this is just beautiful! Great lighting and tones- I love the softness. blurry frame is ok, except on the left when it is starting to cut in the subject's eye- thats a little distracting, but overall-amazing!!!

Beautiful emotive portrait and good crop on the expression of the face, but I would remove this white line on left over her eye as frame!

Thank you,

Biliana

Great great great. I've tried quite a long time to have some changes on brightness, tint, contrast, even blue shadow and gold light zones, but I couldn't have such deep expression as you did.

Congrats for this marvellous picture.

Yes, Biliana.. You are right,, I also notice that the frame slightly cut into the eye edge..

I am kind of "lazy" to correct that.. My fault.. I apologize..

Cyril & Cathy :

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate..

I am only in photography for 1 year with Canon digital Rebel + 3 lense, that all.. no budge to hire professional models . Besides, my wife wo'nt let me work with those beautiful young girls anyway.. :-) , Therefore, I took my 2 daughters as my primary photo targets, and rely heavily on PS and other add-on software to create the effects..

I am relatively new in Photography and wish to learn from you guys.. This photo is my daughter Angel.. Please search the weekly top and review Angel's another other photo taken at the same time with very different mood. Let me know how I can improved.. Thanks for your help..

Amongs the series of your daughter portrait, I love this the most. Full of character. This photo has done you justice in your one year photography. 7/7

One more time I feel sad for the ratings to stop on 7 and not have a 10/10 for this... Amazing work... I am speachless... Its worth the 28000 photos even only for this portrain Lin... I salute you...one of the most moody faces I saw in this site...

This one is my favorite (altough I cannot precisely describe the reason because all your portrait works are powerful). May be it's the look in her eyes, or the sadness feeling it brings. Bravo, Lin. Very outstanding

You have a precious model. She is so beautiful and has a great natural sense for posing.

You have a great use of light and of composition.

My suggestion : just try to post an already reduced picture the way the compression is made by you and not by the website. This will avoid some artefacts I found on almost all your pictures.

Kindest regards
