j_doyle 0 Posted March 19, 2005 Cary, Magnificent image! Superb colors in the hawk and pines. Shimmering light. Sharp where it needs to be...blurred where it needs to be. Love how the wings cup the wind...you can almost hear and feel the powerful wingflap like a parachute opening. Great capture! J Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted March 19, 2005 Beautiful shot. How many individuals have you been shooting at this location? This is definitely the kind of situation where it pays to invest in the right equipment because you know the shot is guaranteed, and it looks like you're right on top of things! Better than your POW. I wonder how difficult it would be to secure a stuffed squirrel in those branches? Link to comment
mbrown 1 Posted April 3, 2005 Why oh why did I have to click on the folder to see the rest of your pics, now I'm going to have to sit here for the next few hours looking and analysing your work....oh well there goes the mowing for today..sensational work Link to comment
cphilpott 0 Posted August 6, 2007 titled #16, and the 15 shots before? How did you do this.... I see potential images and they are always so far away, hawk in tree, soaring eagle... and yet you got close, just wonderful. In a blind, long lens, both? great job. Link to comment
