the thoughts of a pencil

I was reading a book ... suddenly my eyes dropped down on that

image. I decided to catch a shot.

it is a nice image; i would have focused the tip of the pencil instead its middle, also i would have applied a greater Depth of Field closing to higher f-number. this give you some more sharpness to play with.

A little out of focus. It could be better if you should selected and other angle, maybe since the begining of the pencil.

to be honest that is not out of focus ... that's exactly what I was looking for. I like the visual effect you get when look streight to the focused point ... it is an hipnotic effect
