el antorcho 1 Posted March 16, 2005 Any constructive critique will be appreciated. I am mostly interested in any sugestions about how to correct any faults you may find. Thanks Link to comment
stevespencer 0 Posted March 16, 2005 It looks like you have a good handle on capturing action, and this is a good capture. If anything, it might have been a fraction of a second too soon. Maybe we would like to see her above the bar? For the sake of discussion, would the shot have been more pleasing with all the background distractions sufficiently blurred by dof so that we can still tell what her environment is, but not see the background in such sharp relief? In this particular case, since there are so few people there, I think the background is particularly unattractive. This is all academic, and of course, it's dictated by where you had to be positioned to capture this shot (distance from subject), also the focal length, and aperture, but you know all that I'm sure. Just playing devil's advocate for the sake of discussion. What do you think? -s Link to comment
christina_goodman 0 Posted March 18, 2005 This shot has such a crazy look to it. Just with the angles of the athletes arms and the look on her face. Great capture! Link to comment
