I really enjoyed looking through your photos this afternoon. I like your use of words in the photos, it reminded me of Walker Evans. I was surprised to read some of the less than complimentary comments on your portfolio, I guess you can't please everyone.

I like the color and composition in this photograph, and of course the use of the word POWER. I think it is very effective. Nice work.

Dennis, You just wrote me the most flattering critique ever on Photo.net and you wrote it on a picture I had just barely gotten uplifted (no, no, that's me who is "uplifted" by having gotten such a critique on an image I had barely gotten "uploaded") and for which I haven't even requested critiques for because I am still working on brightening up that red lamp in the forground which was so radiant in reality that it's why I took the photo in the first place.

Now I am both uplifted and radiant as a result of your flattery. Thank you very much.

This photo was carefully taken because we can see details in shadod areas and the reflected zones too.

I think you selected very well the best angle for this one. The picture has original colors and fine exposure.

Louise, I like the colours and the light of the car. I find the lamp in the front disturbing.

Great color and composition. The placement of the word power really gives this photo a theme. I edit a trade magazine for the trucking industry and would have had no problems putting this image on the cover! Excellent job. You might think about sending it to the american truck historical society as they have a national magazine that they put out. http://www.aths.org/wheels_of_time.asp

I like nearly everything about this shot (framing, angles, colors, light), and I think the inclusion of the light in front (cousin of a Stinson, perhaps?) is one of the elements that makes this shot work so well, echoing the light above it and the red behind it. The reflection of the Dodge's logo and louvers is cool, though it leads me to the one thing that bothers me: that odd wire (though I don't blame you for it, obviously). I agree: this is cover-worthy. Go for it!
