Silent Lake Park

I love this picture so I've come back to study it again and change my first rate. I've looked at Paul's attached changes, again and again. I've come to the conclusion that I like your Silent Lake Park the best. Your tones are accurate and the contrast not as harsh. I mentioned the greens before, I also like the frozen outline of the hardwoods limbs with their forms against this beautiful sky ( upper left).

 

I like cold weather and snow especially if I'm dressed for it. Have a nice weekend!

Thank you Merni. I happened to really like this image as well and that is why I worked on getting the perfect (or better) sky for the background. I think that you are right, I like the original work too. One effect Paul's fix did was darken the whole image and the greens then became almost black. Maybe just work on the snow and leave the rest alone. I like winter too but it's a little colder and longer up here in Canada.

I don't know if you read the thread but it's actually a composite of three images stitched together and then a fourth image for the sky. Thanks for your visit!
