great image! i'd love to see norway too, pretty soon. everyone else wants to see the warm areas of the earth, carribean sea etc., but i find the cold north much more interesting, and you captured very well why. i guess i need to travel through the whole north hemisphere one day.

Eskil, this is a fascinating scene, well exposed, and composed. I agree with Salvatore's comment regarding the tent. The triangular shape is much better than a dome. The angles of the tent mimick the lines of the aurora. The brighter orange triangle balances the darker upper left corner. I've never witnessed this phenomenon but hope one day to see it for myself. Just curious. What was your shutter speed on this shot?
