matthew_wenman 0 Posted March 13, 2005 Great color of course, awesome to have a little splinter of the sun left. Link to comment
kenten 0 Posted March 13, 2005 Nice. I am a little curious of what it is in the bottom left corner. Looks like a little fisherman Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted March 19, 2007 Erin, Cruisin' through your thumbnails looking for a favourite, it was a toss-up between this one and 'Paris in Vagas'. This one wins because it's sharp. You've already been chastised for not using a tripod on the other one so I won't go there. :-) I like the proportions of sky and sea here as well as the placement in the frame of your two major elements, the sun and the bird. Icing on the cake is the figure in the lower left which tends to break up the mass of waves on the left of the major subject elements and provides some balance plus the compositionally sought after (even though unseen) diagonal line (figure-bird). The deep rich colours and reflections are other noteable elements. Yes, it's been done before, many times, but it's still very successful. Oh, yah, did I mention the level horizon: another plus. Best, LM. Link to comment
