awesome. funny, good framing - what's the letters on the guys forehead? does it mean anything?

Today in our newspaper almost the same photo from Sergei Karpukhin. Like the expression

The letters say "peace". Thank you all for your comments! He actually dedicated this act to the 60 anniversary of Nazi being defeated.

Which newspaper was it, Ronnie?

"De twentsche courant tubantia" a local newspaper. I could not find the picture on their site (www.tctubantia.nl).

 

The article is about Diab Karim setting out to get the worldrecord 'gettin cold' in Moscow, this stunt is done in a programm around the sixtiest birthday of the Russian victory over the Germans in WW2. MNP means peace.

I saw this on the TV yesterday.

From what I saw on TV I would have shown a bit more of water. You can see it just a bit on the left bottom corner but there were small bits of ice floating all around him. Creepy... :-)

 

BTW, I thougth MIR meant world and not peace?
