nice photo, any thoughts about trying it in black/white?

Scott, you have great subject matter here and this scene looks like you have tried to capture all of it. This is just my opinion, but I think that it might have more impact with simpler ilustrations, and possibly, with dull light conditions, black and white. I tried to simplify your scene somewhat, to ilustrate what I mean. What do you think? Very best wishes. P

Peter has it right. It is interesting as a document of the conditions, but there is too much going on to focus on. Simplifying it and trying to isolate a single story would focus the image.

Thanks for posting these pictures. I've spent a lot of the past two years in Manila and have struggled with wanting to capture scenes like this in a way that would be honest -- thanks for pointing the way.
