tal_weiss 0 Posted October 10, 2001 I wanted to get the colors right, because the light was fantastic... Link to comment
nomad 0 Posted October 10, 2001 I wish you could have fill flashed the horse, he is a little underexposed for me. Link to comment
david_chess 0 Posted October 10, 2001 The colors of the horse, the surface of the water, the grass all seem about perfect to me. I'd happily put this on my wall! (Whether or not the horse looks too dark is probably a matter both of taste and of monitor gamma; the hazards of Web viewing...) Link to comment
bob_k 0 Posted October 10, 2001 Horse, water and grass are great! It seems incomplete with the horse's nose hidden behind the grass. Did you get any shots right when the horse lifted its nose just above the grass, or would the motion have blurred the shot at the shutter speed you were using? Also, I like the general scenery behind the horse so I wonder what a wider shot with more that background would look like. Link to comment
tal_weiss 0 Posted October 13, 2001 I've waited and waited (I know it sound silly) but the horse would not lift it's head! I also felt that the picture would be more "complete" when the horse is in full view. A wider lense? Yes. That would have been intereseting. Thanks for the kind words! Link to comment
richard_lowery 0 Posted October 13, 2001 ---I was from the group that would say, "Wait till it lifted it's head to get the complete horse." Whistling may have caused it to raise its head and look toward you? Link to comment
