Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Thanks Paul, Hashim, Carlos, Vladimir and Tamtam. Paul I saw the white tigers today for the first time in my life. They looked really cute and cuddly while they were lazing about, but when they started prowling restlessly at feeding time, I was quite content with watching them from a safe distance. j_doyle 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Egads! From the thumbnail, thought that raw meat was an unlucky bird trying (too late) to stop and reverse direction. The blurred water and paws capture the power and speed of the tiger's attack...and add to the element of startlement and alarm any unlucky prey must feel. Fierce photo! Link to comment
silentinfinite 0 Posted March 12, 2005 I love the way you've practically frozen time in this one. I think shots like this are the reason photography exists. Excellent job. Truly outstanding. Link to comment
alecee 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Very nice angle Bilal! You got a winner here. Wish it was larger. The waters droplets are amazing. Link to comment
Bilal Zaheer 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Thanks guys. alec, I have uploaded a bit larger versio now. The shot was taken at 1/2000 sec, yet there is a bit of motion blur. these giant cats really move fast! Link to comment
kaurlass 0 Posted March 12, 2005 Powerful! Tiger is a royal animal and yet when she sees food she looses her ways and jumps. She knows that this peace of meet is hers. Original. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 12, 2005 Amazing! The white tiger photos are both beautiful and graceful. Link to comment

peter_kervarec 0 Posted March 12, 2005 This is an awesome shot - I love it. Talk about timing - perfect ! I think the food detracts a little though and " de naturises " the image a little. I hope you dont mind but I have posted what I think would be an improvement. I cloned out the meat and cropped in a little. This then gives the image some mystery as to how and where it was taken. cromwell1664877587 0 Posted March 13, 2005 That food really bothers me too. After looking at Marina's sample I'm taken back at what an awesome picture this is...or could be. Link to comment
