Powerful graphic, but I can't tell what it is or get a sense of scale, other than the fact that it looks big.

Hello Naftali, I was been here in sept 04 and i maked one of this, see in my gallery the zubi zuri photo. Your diagonal is good but it's bit deformed, see you :)

Alex, thansk for your critique. i visited your gallery - very imporessive work.

however, in comparing our two iamges of zubizuri, i am afraind the difference is in taste:

yous is very crisp and sunny, with a lot of elan and correct geometry.

mine - less then perfect resolution, gray december mood and i actually liked the distortion that made the rail look like a tornatdo funnel cloud.

i want to post them side by side here (i hope you agree and no copyright offence will be committed).

 

 

 

 

Naftali, I like how you ( and the structure) force the watcher to raise the eyes and lower them at the same time. A fast movement to grasp this projection. Well done.

A very nice abstraction. I like this a lot. The grey palette and fuzzy feel are a nice counterbalance to the crisp graphic quality of the shapes contained here.

A simple effective composition. Perhaps it would have been nice if the top left cable was more separated from the main beam, but the shot works well already. Cheers, Leigh.
