I would crop the picture in the middle dropping the right black area.

Nice location. next time try to take two pics. One exposed for the sunny area and the other for the shadow and then combine them in PS. Defintely worth another trip next fall.

Nice location, nice colors. The big black area on the right is unnecessary though.

As Daryl indicated, you have a nice picture that is compromised by the problem of dealing with the contrast range - the highlights in the water are blown, and the shadows too dark. The problem here of taking two shots and superimposing them is that there is generally enough movement in the water and the leaves to make things look a bit fuzzy, in ny expereince.
