ricardo navarro 0 Posted March 6, 2005 Ravi, thank you for your comment. You are right, it was direct sunlight from overhead, not good, but I had no choice, the alternative being under cover, where I could not handhold if I was to get the DOF right. Link to comment
marcobrivio 0 Posted March 8, 2005 Funny character with vivid colors. I think that some fill-in flash could help a bit. Regards Link to comment
ricardo navarro 0 Posted March 8, 2005 Yes, Marco, it might have helped with the shadows on the eyes, but this was a hasty shot, the guy was nice but woulnd't wait for long, too bad. Thank you for leaving a comment. Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted March 16, 2005 Ricardo, this great shot is full of character. I agree that there is a slight difficulty with the exposure, but for me this does not detract from the impact of the image. I wonder if this problem can be helped by something as simple as a crop? This may help to focus the viewer's gaze on the subject's face by removing much of the brighter tunic from the frame? What do you think? Regards, Nick. Link to comment
ricardo navarro 0 Posted March 19, 2005 Nicholas, I think yours is a valid idea. It had not occurred to me since I tend to leave my pictures full frame, but since we are already at it, I think I would go further and crop a bit more from top and right. Thanks for your suggestion! Link to comment

lukep 0 Posted October 21, 2005 Muy bonita composicion y expresion. El fondo oscura me va muy bien tambien. Un tanto amarillado o sera mi pantalla? Y tal vez un tantito mas de sharpening para el toque final. Link to comment
Link to comment
