aneely 0 Posted March 5, 2005 Hi Nick - Good street theme and capture. It looks like the woman caught you with your camera to your eye. Do you ever shoot from the hip? When I'm doing street shots and want to preserve the candidicy of a scene, I'll leave my camera hanging at my waist, front or side, with it prefocused and fire away. Some of my best street shots were taken that way. I used to have an old Exa 35 with a waist level viewer...it was great because you could glance down for a reality check on what the camera saw. Helped to develop hand/eye coordination. After a while, you get pretty good at composing what you see through your peripheral vision without having to look directly at the subjects or the camera...sort of a walk-by-shooting. By the way, you can push Superia 1 stop...and these comments are only intended to share what I have learned. Link to comment
