Although shot in bright sunlight, this has a dark or mysterious

feeling to it (for me) in some ways. I liked the light shining

through the hole on the darker leaf. Any comments will be

appreciated.

Nice close-up shot of interesting small things! (My favorite genre.) The hole in the leaf is indeed very nice.

My only reservation about this image is that it's a little busy: the hole, the red blob, and the brightly-lit hairy thing are all vying for our attention. Have you tried cropping out the red blob? Might be worth a try...

Too busy...don't like the brown thing on the left, the bright blurry cherry on top, the out-of-focus bottom of the leaf and probably not even the hole. I like the top of the leaf -- the edge, lines and shadow and most of the blur (except for the cherry) behind it.

Much improved without the reb blob. The bright hairy thing and the hole in the leaf get along better than I would have expected; now it's a nice cohesive shot.
