I wanted to have the shot look like the candle was the only light source. Other then the candle, I use two other lights. A large light was used to light the entire scene. A smaller light to give the candle a little more effect. The larger light was reflected off a white wall behind the camera, and the small light was reflected off a white board near the candle.

Nice first try. That is tricky lighting.

The only thing I would change is maybe having the candle off to the side and back a bit. And the spectacles maybe laid askew in front of the bottle. That way we'd get a better view of the bottle. I have seen pics like that which also use a smidgen of light from behind to sort of illuminate the bottle itself. Some faint light shining through would be nice. But the lighting as it is is great.
