colin carron 58,916 Posted March 6, 2005 Elina, I prefer this shot to the other because the background pattern of trees is recognisable. So when I look at this I see the frosted window and then the trees so the picture created in my head more complete. Link to comment
elina_kangas 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Thanks visiting here :-) Yes I understand what you mean. In the other picture there are houses in the background, but the block is a little against the rising sun and a little far away so you couldn't tell what is the dark area :-) Link to comment
andrewpgrant 0 Posted March 15, 2005 Beautiful... It's as though the trees have been draped in a thin veil of ice-crystals. Graphically, I like the way the dark lines of the trees break up the otherwise soft tones of the sky and ice-crystals. Link to comment
ynse 0 Posted March 26, 2005 If I may say, it's one of the strongest photo I've seen in your portfolio. Simple and creative. BW works extremely well here. Link to comment
elina_kangas 0 Posted March 29, 2005 Thanks Alberto and Pawel! I am happy you have found this capture. Pawel, special thanks for saying :-) The b&w is "natural" - in this view there was only these colours. Link to comment
ynse 0 Posted March 29, 2005 I've seen this blue patch in upper right corner, but I didn't expect it's untouched on colors. Well, what can I say, you are making better and better photos :). Regards. Link to comment
