shami 0 Posted March 5, 2005 Nice B&W work, in my opinion it is little too contrasty... but over all very good portrature...7/7 Link to comment
johnlund 0 Posted March 5, 2005 I hope you don't mind a well-meaning attempt at a constructive comment from a lesser photographer like me: The face looks heavily over-sharpened, otherwise, it's a really good headshot. Nice lighting, tones (I don't find it too contrasty), framing, and expression. Link to comment
john falkenstine 1 Posted March 5, 2005 More: I agree with the comments above and would add that for a B/W image, tonality is actually quite poor. The oversharpening is really quite bad and the exposure quality of the areas around the eyes and eyes themselves is also in need of improvement. It looks like an average exposure doctored up to try and be something that it simply cannot be. Link to comment
manuel.rincon 0 Posted March 7, 2005 Yes, very beautiful portrait. I agree that it is very contrasty. It is extremely difficult to compose such a face when you are cropping his head and shoulders. This is a great job. Very expressive of wisdom. Manuel. Link to comment
