Your picture is nice and I like it. I think the look a little "unfocused" comes from a bad compression.

I would have liked it better with more sharpness on top of the red things.

Also, what do you thing af plancing the fower in the corner and give it more contrast and bigger DOF?

I've tried to do these things so that won't be misunderstanding because of my bad english.

sorry for this later edit.. but i realized that the focus problem was almost certainly from the scanner. Anyway I still prefer the work of clarity and dof you achieved on "out of the blue" photo in your portfolio.
