perhaps a touch too much sky, with the interest spots an after thought and getting lost slightly towards the left hand side. A nice feeling image though

Rob, thanks so much for your critique. I wonder if it would look better in B&W. Perhaps similar to your "Breacon Beacons" image?

;-D you'd lose the lovely feeling that the picture has if it were in B&W (perhaps - I'm away from a PC where I could check) - it really is a nice image, the colour of the sky and water is just so relaxing. It is just a shame the reflection of the land mass takes away the end portion of the sticks...

Guy, I would leave this in color. I also agree with the comment about the pilings on the left being a little obscured. Still, this is a very nice photograph. It has a peaceful "end of day" ambience about it. Regards.

I see this as a colour equivalent of the classic Michael Kenna and David Fokos thots. The colours look very odd but there's no doubt that the result is appealing. Cheers, Leigh.

Well executed photograph with excellent composition. The channel between the two piling is helping me direct my attention to the horizon the wonderful pastel colors.
