witolda_maruszewska 0 Posted February 28, 2005 I think this farm cat really didn't want its picture taken, and it certainly didn't take a shine to me either... I did manage to get this one frame before it ran away to hide; I like it, but I would appreciate an opinion on this regarding lighting, composition etc. Link to comment
alan hogue 0 Posted February 28, 2005 Well, I for one think the composition is great. The huge amount of neutral space above and behind the cat is somehow very effective. I suppose to me it emphasizes a sense of loneliness or rugged independence, depending how you want to look at it. It gives the picture depth that it would not have if framed more conventionally. mar_lia_ferraz 0 Posted February 28, 2005 Not a friendly cat at all. A very good moment, indeed. Link to comment
erikkaffehr 0 Posted February 28, 2005 Some cropping on the top would be nice. Nice work! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted March 1, 2005 The details, DOF and the expresion of the cat are very good. It looks like the aspect ratio is 1.5/1. My inclination would be to slightly crop the top down to a ration of 1.4/1. Link to comment
