oswegophoto 1 Posted February 28, 2005 Right out of there, with the clone tool. A background like this mottled blue is perfect, hiding your "brush strokes". And again, the light is very bluish in a situation like this, so it's a bit more flattering, IMO, to use a warming filter or just subtract the excess blue in post. I've attached my quickly modified version. Changes: cloned out canoe, reduced the blue (used levels), tweaked up the overall levels for a bit more snap and lightness, selectively blurred the little highlights along the shore, and very slightly dodged her near eye, to bring out the details of her lashes. I like the results (for a quick & dirty job); what do you think? I had a good picture to start with, so that helps. Link to comment
