I actually have not tamed it, I've created it - 1 pixel size brush, a lots of time and coffee

Yes Mike. The lamp post is still there, I have not created it :-)))

 

Actually It is a day light shot against the light. They had just turned the street lights on when I took the picture.

I registered with Photo.net just so I could say how impressed I am with this picture ! So atmospheric and imaginative; it brings to mind the pictures of St Paul's in the Blitz and every Sherlock Holmes, Fu Manchu etc movie.

Very nice image! I was in London myself for a couple of days, but didn't have much time for photography...
