Perhaps I'm making too much of this -- reading more into the picture than exists. But I see this as a powerful and arresting metaphor for breast cancer. Whether I'm right or wrong, it made me stop and think. A very good image.

That too was my first impression - loudly, with even a sad and blue in those eyes.

But, there is another too - the rotten apple - the black sheep - the naughty girl that likes to pose nude - original sin. Combined with this it takes a somewhat different slant. Not a 'nude study', but rather a 'study of The Nude' - the concept itself explored. Complete with symbolic commentary a'la'Natalja

As a metaphor this image is great. The message is conveyed very well and I have to tell that makes me feel sad looking at the picture.

similarities of nature are astounding

My word, what an apple!! Shocking!! ... but a fantastic photo, not only for itself, but also it would be idea for a breast cancer metaphor - perhaps you could sell (or better, donate?) it to the cause!!
