MichaelChang 12 Posted February 24, 2005 Hi Steve, I'm quite shocked by the ratings. This type of low light indoor group shot in large spaces is something I've never had much luck with, even shooting digital with the benefit of instant review. The result here may look ordinary, but I know first hand it ain't exactly trivial. Link to comment
smhickel 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Good to hear from you. In fact, this is a flash photo straight on. It is the SB24 or 26 (can't remember) Nikon with some good electronics. Next to me is the real wedding photographer and that is why these folks are look at him and not me. I like the candles and backdrop and the randomness of the peoples expressions as I am sneaking photos between the other guys setups. As always thanks! Steve Link to comment
MichaelChang 12 Posted February 25, 2005 I have a SB-24 that only works in the manual mode with the D70 which accounts for much of my problems (never experimented enough to be speedily proficient at manual adjustments), particularly in large spaces. I don't do enough flash photography to justify buying a SB-800, but I suppose as any tool, there's no getting around the requirement when you need it. Link to comment
