Khao Luang Cave Entrance

thanks craig - I shall try to make it there when I finsih my schooling in Australia next year. I plan to take a few months afterwards and explore Asia a bit. Though, obviously I will have to pick only a few countries.

I agree with Joseph's comment above about the sign on the pillar. It looks like it would be easy to clone it out. A little hot in the highlights on the steps too. Otherwise this is GREAT! Fabulous mood. Regards.

Sergey - How did I do this? That's literally what it looked like. Camera on tripod, Av mode at f8 metered off a mid tone and pressed the shutter release. That was all.

 

Joseph and Walter - agree re:the sign. I actually tried cloning it out, but it didn't look right. Although that's more due to my cloning skills, than anything else. The subtle differences in the light beam were impossible to work with at my skill level in Photoshop. Perhaps I'll give it another try in the future when my PS skills improve.
