j123 0 Posted February 23, 2005 Good picture overall, colours are amazing as if straight out of a cartoon, I only regret that the spider is not whole... Keep shooting, JB. Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted February 27, 2005 Thanks for the ratings and comments. Actually, this was taken 'blind.' I was testing out a new camera and found this. It was in the middle of my grandpa's flowerbed. I just shoved my hand under and snapped off a couple. Got lucky on a good one. -cg Link to comment
scott_lewis3 1 Posted July 25, 2005 i would like to see it with a tiny bit more D.O.F but it's a great shot. Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted August 7, 2005 This photo actual took place the week I got my coolpix, almost a year ago. It was in november and the last of the insects were out on a cool day. I was able to get real close without chasing them away. With the coolpix, i can rotate the viewscreen. I had to hold this one out and underneath the spider and hope to click something good. Now I have more experience, I see that it is overexposed and has much room for improvement. What draws me to this photo is this guy munchin on something good. You can see the wing still wrapped in spider silk. I'm hoping to be able to recreate some of these shots this fall, now I know more about composition and exposures. Thanks for the comments! cg :) Link to comment
chad_goldman 0 Posted August 7, 2005 All a matter of perspective :) I still love the comments though, many times they point out things I have picked up. Or aspects which I can incorporate for my next outing. So keep on commenting! Link to comment
