Night out in Singapore (Featured in Digital Photography July 2006 Issue)

Night shots are not easy, but this is remarkable both in the angle you chose and the light.

hi Alec, have you tried layering multiple (short and long) exposures to capture hidden clouds?

Hi Michael, nice of you to stop by. I have always been an admirer of your inimitable style for awesome landscapes. My image was taken quite late at night and it was covered with a haze - no cloud at all. I guess it turn out stark different and that's why there are more comments here.

One of the better night shots I've seen on PN. Clear, detailed and beautiful colors. The angle you shot this at is pleasing, too. I must get out after dark sometime!

Alec, composition is perfect! Balance of darkness and light is....perfect. Just enough coloured light to really make the beholder look right around the entire shot. The blackness in this shot is silky smooth beautiful. I rate this one 7/7. I'm pleased to have seen it.
