The lighting is first rate - especially the use of the kicker. I find the skin tones are very unnatural looking and think this part of the processing took the image down in this regard.

 

Adding a bit of light for the eyes would also make for a more dynamic image with a bit more "life"

 

 

It's amazing how a relatively "straight-forward" shot like this can be so beautiful. No fancy photoshop post-processing, no fancy angles and no fancy gymnastic exercises. Just beauty. This is what real good photo is all about: Light, colors and expression. Brilliant!
