La Petite Fleur de Namaqua

This was september - the spring in the desert of Namaqua. I was lying

on the ground (rolling in the carpet of flowers) to capture this tiny

flower (ca 5 cm tall). How do you like it? Thanks cheers Jana

To me, what makes this photo so interesting is the blur and mostly, the colors. If the background were just green, I think it would be boring, but the purple makes it. Great shot.

Jana, the only thing I might change on this shot would be the bright highlight on the one yellow flower. Hope this critique is of use.

The motion blur is an interesting and creative effect. I really like it for the background, but find it a bit disturbing in the center of the foreground flower.

This is a gorgeous image! The depth of field is perfect and i love the blur effect. Is it natural blur or any post-processing? There is a very pastel-like look to the blur. if it is natural, then very well captured. if it is post-processed, then nice artistic touch!

Anish, thanks for your kind words. This is all natural. No PS here. And I was again , licking the ground, as the flower was as tiny as 5 cm from earth to the top.

the softenss bothers me slightly. But it's still beautiful.

Love the colors, the opposition between blue and yellow, the curved stems, the well chosed background, the delicate softness. Ah Jana, it's a pleasure to see your work.
