yongbo 0 Posted February 21, 2005 I bought the same camera half year ago, IMO, a good tripod (I have Manfrotto 724B) and filters are more important than the flash, there are a lot of articles can help you to make decision. http://www.photo.net/learn/making-photographs/ Link to comment

WJT 634 Posted February 24, 2005 Hi Bruce. Ha! This is pretty good...a mouse and some cheese. I like the way you have the mouse pointed so that he looks as though he is eyeing over the bait. I would have a little more room on the bottom edge of the frame. Also the glare on the table in the upper left is a little distracting, but not too bad. Perhaps a polarizer filter next time. Still, an entertaining photograph. Regards. Link to comment

yongbo 0 Posted May 1, 2005 Thank you for the comments on my portfolio. Not sure either you got the flash or not. I just bought a Sigma EF-500 DG Super for Canon. The build-in diffuser and wireless feature (no off shoe cable is needed) are wonderful. I had tried the Canon 420EX, but Sigma is much better, almost the same as Canon 550EX, but a lot cheaper. Are you using RAW format? I am using it exclusively. It definitely can make a good picture better.Regards,Yongbo Link to comment
