Interesting composition. Were these pillars tilted or it is the lens distortion. Boosting up the contrast and adjustment of highlights and shadows will greatly improve the image.

Nicholas, I could not resist...here's my take on this beautiful shot for comparison. Some PS perspective correction, darkening shadows, and tweaking of the background colours.

Once again, I'd like to thank Zafar and Colin for showing me the greater potential of my images. When you guys show me how its done, I realise that there is so much to learn. But all things considered, I would go with Edward's suggestion, and combine both approaches.
