ned1 0 Posted February 22, 2005 The tone is good. If this is a crop you might play around with some PS perpective correction and re-crop. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 22, 2005 Interesting composition. Were these pillars tilted or it is the lens distortion. Boosting up the contrast and adjustment of highlights and shadows will greatly improve the image. Kind regards. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 22, 2005 Another version. Adjustment of highlights shadows and midtones. Adjusted curves and sharpened. Hope you like it. Kind regards. Link to comment
colin carron 58,916 Posted February 22, 2005 Nicholas, I could not resist...here's my take on this beautiful shot for comparison. Some PS perspective correction, darkening shadows, and tweaking of the background colours. Link to comment
ned1 0 Posted February 23, 2005 Combine the perspective correction and Zafar's contrasts and you will have nailed this one. Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted February 23, 2005 Once again, I'd like to thank Zafar and Colin for showing me the greater potential of my images. When you guys show me how its done, I realise that there is so much to learn. But all things considered, I would go with Edward's suggestion, and combine both approaches. Best wishes to you all - Nick. Link to comment
cocasana 0 Posted March 11, 2006 Excellent photo, dear Nicholas! Very interesting architectural detail! Yes..., a tad more contrast enhances the shot! Link to comment
