nathan w 0 Posted February 19, 2005 it's beautiful. Maybe the sharp area on the lower left distracts my eye a bit... but it's a minor distraction at that. Link to comment
nicholasprice 0 Posted February 19, 2005 I just love everthing about this image. Even though you have told us what it is, we are presented with a magnificent abstract. Powerful for being in B&W, and better because of the coarse grain! Fantastic - 7/7 Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 19, 2005 Hi, I love the bubble! Maybe I would have prefered to see the background as a diagonal running corner to corner, diving the square into triangles, giving a triangulation behind the bubble. Perhaps a very slow film like Tech pan would have also made an interesting image, in other ways. I absoloutely think it is a very beautiful photo. Perhaps the bubble was resting on a long rubber edge, which reflects wonderfully in the sphere. I am a begginer and I find such work very inspiring to asy the least. Thanks very much and best wishes. hanna_cowpe 0 Posted July 7, 2005 I like the depth and 'movement' in the bubble, and the grain is great for providing texture to a transparent subject. By the way, it's good to see honest critiques are still made occasionally here on PN. Link to comment
