Travertine formation, Mammoth Hot Springs, Yellowstone National Park

Much different photo of the terrace than I have seen before. Really nice subtle colors (with Velvia?)and the travertine almost looks like fresh snow. I really like this.

I like this. Haven't seen all the "conventional" shots of this location but this is obviously something special with lovely graduation of blues in the background. Only thing which would have improved it is something for the eye to focus on in the foreground - a figure perhaps... but that's not really a constructive criticism because you couldn't have conjured foreground interest out of thin air and as a landscape I think this works beautifully.

It makes me feel cold, but the beauty warmth up my heart, great shot!

This is an interesting shot. I think it would have worked a little better on a black background. There is so much white in the photo and it gets blended in with the web page.
