This is just awesome! 7/7 for sure and would give more! :):):) Before I read your description i thought that it is a reflection in the water filled with small white flowers! Extremely great job!:):):)

Muted slightly out-of-focus background covered by delicate ice crystals with such complimentary colors. This is really nicely done.

Looking through your folder I stopped at this one. It is one of my favorites of yours and I am seeing it for the first time. At first, like Richard, I thought it was a reflection in a still pond with leaves....I really like how the frost takes on such a delicate lavendar color. This is a delightful picture to sit back and enjoy. Thank you for sharing it with those of us who care.....

Wonderful tone and palette. Soon this season is back. Smoothness and DOF is perfect for creating this mood and athmosphere.

Thank you for checking this out. If you don't mind I'd like to use your quote when I need to, "7/7 in a free world".

This says it best!

Yes there should be frost here soon, I have been checking for it every morning. It's my favorite thing to photograph. This was taking during a milestone in my life and a surprise how I happened to photograph the frost.

Read the comments above and personally I cant find any thing surreal. Really been looking for that. On the contrairy quite much of reality, with a dreamy romantic touch. Captures fine the time that has come. Stillness and darkness and also awakening past times.A time to concider, a time to die a bit and also to be reborn. Walter

Thank you Don for looking at my work and mentioning this, I'm glad you found this one. I've since photographed frost 3 times this year, I'm finding its a world of its own. I've to stand back from the whole image and see what speaks to me as you've done with this. I'm glad I captured this scene as it was because I've found I'll never catch one such as this again.

Just proves to me that a raft of monkeys using Photoshop can never compete with the infinite variety of nature and the imagination of one inspired person prepared to explore different ways of viewing their world. You should be proud of this image, its surreal, beautiful, inspirational and most importantly, original. I take my hat off to you and bow graciously! Well done indeed.

John, I like your imagination.I'm sure tonight I'll dream about monkeys heading down stream while I try to photograph them.

Most of all thank you for the poignant comment.

Thank You Brian. I hope to soon visit yours.
