tim_adams 0 Posted February 18, 2005 The pan is solid, but, and I'm guessing, it looks like it was underexposed, and brightened too much in post processing. I may be wrong, but it just has that look. Link to comment
f1-fanatic 0 Posted March 4, 2005 I was at the Grand Prix du Canada in 2004 as well and from the angle of the sun I can assume you were on the other side of the circuit from where my photos were taken. I shot with the same camera and employed the 70-200mm f/2.8 with the 2xTC so I have an idea of what the conditions were like over that race weekend. With the sun as high as it was and with no coulds in the sky I wish I had brought with me some neutral density filters to knock down the exposure a bit.. but I didn't and a lot of my images were just as hot. I think you did a great job here with the pan and everything looks sharp. My only criticism and that is one of personal preference rather than a technical suggestion and that is if you cannont get a lower vantage point, try to do something different with the composition and try rotating the camera a bit.. This adds to the excitement and keeps the viewers eye moving. Link to comment
