harry eggens 0 Posted February 14, 2005 ....and therefore it looses some detail in the clothing and water, but wonderful scene and I am wondering where these kids are talking about. Looks like they are having fun splashing around with there boots in the water. Excellent composition....Kind regards, Harry Link to comment
harry photter 0 Posted February 14, 2005 7/7 Well-done Janet! You've caught one of these magic moments of life! The atmosphere of your shot is wonderful! Link to comment
janet_. 0 Posted February 14, 2005 thank you for your constructive comment. I really appreciate it, specially when its from a great photographer like you. And splashing fun they had, it took me two hours to get them clean afterwards. But we had a lot of fun. (and you can see...they were talking about the things, they couldn't do...and did it anyway!) harnstrom1 0 Posted February 15, 2005 The technique is already commented on. Real nice work. The composition is like from taken from a book "How to compose". It is easy for the eye to follow the children, the road and the slope. And I can imagine their faces. Regards. Link to comment
janet_. 0 Posted February 15, 2005 their faces were the best of the best. I did try to picture it but unfortunately it didn't work out. Thanks for your comment. Link to comment
Link to comment

Sogokon 0 Posted February 16, 2005 Very nice picture, Janet. It is even academic in terms of composition and looks brilliantly in B&W. Well done! Link to comment

pimderuijter 0 Posted February 20, 2005 Mooie foto Janet! Groetjes, Pim Link to comment
janet_. 0 Posted February 20, 2005 thank you, we had a great time. I'm still working on the waterdrops...frustrating! Link to comment
pimderuijter 0 Posted February 22, 2005 Waterdrops, hmm, difficult I think. I think your shuttertime have to be between 1/4 and 1/30 sec. To make them visible the light (source) must be in the right position to let them light up. When you made some, I'm interested in the results! Link to comment
Groetjes, Sjanet Link to comment
tomaso nigris 0 Posted February 26, 2005 Very nice picture. I like very much the children with feet in the water and the boy that turn the head to the girl it becomes a telling story picture Link to comment
chris d 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Don't change a thing. Perfect as is. Great contrast and tone. Composition is also very very nice (kids are framed nicely against the background). Like the slight tilt of the boys head to the left... 7/7 Link to comment
