brian f 0 Posted February 14, 2005 No, I don't agree that they look clumsily pasted in, that is a mean and negative remark, but the last figure does look a little large. Anyway, very good idea, well done. Link to comment

robertbrown 1 Posted February 15, 2005 I have to agree with one of the previous posts: this is really artificial looking, though somewhat amusing. Link to comment
bernhard 0 Posted February 15, 2005 Of course this LOOKS pasted in, it screams photoshop and if it is SO obvious the word 'clumsily' is quite in order. Stating the obvious is sure negative in this case, but if saying the truth is 'mean' is obviously a matter for debate here on photo.net. Link to comment
nomade 1 Posted February 16, 2005 yes, it's a composite, but we only understand that by looking deep into details. I think the minor "mistakes" (for example, shaddows dropping to both sides), could be obvioused for the very original idea and, after all, very effective aesthetic result. I wouldn't use the word "clumsily" in a negative sense, cause probably the "clumsy" way of merging the different images was made on purpose to try to give the sense of "not methodically arranged"... mg 0 Posted February 16, 2005 It's original, and it's not bad at all, but it still feels pasted. I wish it would be more believable. For example, a detail that spoils the montage imo is the fact that the front person was flipped. Just look at the shadows of the 2 front roses: they go in opposed directions, which makes the lighting impossible. Should we care ? Imo, yes. Regards. Link to comment
